Selection and replacement of shearing machine blades

As a convenient production machine, the most important thing to remove the structure of the machine itself is its blades. And how to choose the shearing machine blades? First of all, the types of blades of the shearing machine are not complicated. Except for the location of the installation hole and the external dimensions to be confirmed, the shapes are basically the same, and the only difference is the upper blade. The type of your machine determines the style of the upper blade. The blade of the pendulum shearing machine and the guillotine shearing machine are different. Figure 1 is the blade of the pendulum shearing machine, and picture 2 is the blade of the guillotine shearing machine.

Because of its different movement mode, the upper blade of the swing beam shearing machine is diamond-shaped, while the movement mode of the guillotine shearing machine is straight up and down, so the upper blade is rectangular. If you need to buy a new blade, you need to know what shape do you need.

So is the blade worn out and need to buy a new one? No, because the shearing machine blades are designed for multi-faceted processing. If you just feel that the blade edge has a sense of frustration, the halving effect is very poor, you can continue to use it by adjusting the blade. For example, because the guillotine type is rectangular and the mounting hole is located in the middle of the cross section, the blades of the gate shears (Figure 3) ABCD can be used.

The swing beam shearing machine is different. As mentioned above, its movement mode is different. Figure 4 shows the movement mode of the swing beam shearing machine.

His trajectory is arc-shaped, and the blade falls at the red line position. If the blade is installed after the same reversal as the guillotine shear, the newly installed blade will be offset, so the blade of the swing beam shearing machine can only use AB Two points (Figure 5).
